My son was a huge fan of the game series Dark Souls so when I found the method of shirt decoration that is bleach resist, he immediately was drawn to making a Solaire design. I drew a silhouette of Solaire and the sun areas to apply to a gray shirt with vinyl cut on my Silhouette.
We diluted bleach with water in a spray bottle and lightly misted the area. A hairdryer helped to see the effect develop and then a quick rinse to stop the process and the vinyl comes off and into the wash it goes. Son was very pleased and has gotten lots of complements on his shirt from fellow Dark Souls fans. A crafty mom win for sure!
